Great Salt Lake Bowling Association Amendment Procedures:
Any member of the association or USBC youth member who bowls in USBC Leagues in the association’s jurisdiction may submit proposed amendments to these bylaws. The bylaws may be amended at any membership meeting by a two-thirds vote of the adult members, Youth Representatives and Board present and voting. The amendment must be:

- Submitted in writing to the Association Manager or President.
- Submitted at least 30 days prior to the meeting when the association is considering the proposal.
State and National Delegate Qualifications
Eligibility
1. USBC Annual Meeting. Delegates and Alternates must be:
a. Elected by the Board, adult members and Youth Representatives.
b. At least 18 years of age.
c. A USBC member in good standing of the association at the time of election and throughout their term.
2. State Annual Meeting(s). Nominees must be:
a. Elected by adult members or Youth Representatives.
b. At least 14 years of age.
c. A USBC member in good standing of the association at the time of election and throughout their term.
If a member is elected to represent more than one association to attend the same meeting, the first election shall stand and any succeeding election shall be declared null and void.
National Convention and Workshops - Delegate Responsibilities and Expenses:
Upon election to the USBC National Convention, board members, paid employees and non-board member delegates will have the following requirements:
Board Members and Paid Employees:
1. Upon return from the convention and workshops, board member and paid employee delegates will be expected to actively participate in committee assignments and association activities in order to share the knowledge they obtained at the convention.
2. Give a report to the board about one of the workshops.
3. The Association shall pay expenses as set forth in the annual association budget. The association has budged $400 for 2020.
Non-Board Members:
1. Must attend two board meetings.

Transportation and lodging arrangements will be made by the Association for our delegates unless a delegate wishes to make their own.
Receipts must be provided for reimbursement of these expenses and must be submitted upon return from the convention.
Elected and/or appointed delegates must attend all sessions of the National Convention and Workshops, which means participating in three to four educational workshops per day plus the convention business meetings during a four-day period.
Nominees must agree to accept these delegate responsibilities prior to running for election.
Delegates must attend all meetings and workshops in order to receive budgeted funds, unless an emergency arises. The decision will be made by the officers as to what constitutes an emergency.
