Bowlers of the Year/All City Teams Criteria:
All City Teams are selected for:

Youth, Adult Females, Adult Males, Senior Females and Senior Males.

 
The criteria will be as follows:
1. Must be in good standing with the Great Salt Lake Bowling Association.
2. Selection will be made on the following:

75% performance
25% sportsmanship and character

3. The method of accumulating points toward the Bowler of the Year and the All City Team are as follows.
Highest sanctioned league average
(Summer leagues will not apply) (50 games minimum)
1 point per pin
Second high league average 1/10 point per pin
75 Pins over average game 7 points
140 over average series 15 points
100 Pins over average game 10 points
900 series 40 points
800 series 35 points
700 series 15 points
300 games 30 points
299 games 29 points
298 games 28 points
11 strikes in a row 20 points
All Spare Games 5 points
Big 4 Split Conversion 6 points
7-10 Split Conversion 7 points
Dutch 200 game 5 points
Triplicate 5 points
   
City tournament scores/championship:
All events score 1 / 20 point per pin
Singles Champion 1 point
Doubles Champion 1 point
Team Champion 1 point
All Events Champion 1 point
   
4. Special Performance: Special performances will not receive any points. These performances will be used to determine final position in case of a tie. Examples of Special Performances are: Participation in the USBC Nationals and the scores bowled, participation in the Utah State BA and WBA Tournament and scores bowled, local tournament finishes, regional tournament finishes, participation, etc.
5. Sportsmanship and character are defined as: Conduct on the lanes and in the bowling centers, general attitude, dignity and promotion of the sport of bowling etc.
